AC blowing warm air in traffic normal or issue?

I've got a question about my 2023 Integra Type S. When I'm stuck in traffic, the AC starts blowing warm air, even though it's still on. Once I get moving, it goes back to normal.

Is this a sign of a cooling problem, or is it just something that happens in traffic? I'm not getting any warning lights, so I'm not sure what's up.

Any advice or similar stories would be great.

That's not par for the course, your condenser needs airflow to work and isn't getting enough when you're stopped. Your cooling fans are supposed to pull air through when you're not moving, but it appears they aren't doing their job. Can you hear or see the fans behind your radiator kick on when you turn on the AC in your driveway?

Some who has newer Integras have noticed similar behavior. Does it happen only when the engine's idling or even at low speeds?

Following up on this post. Were you able to determine why your AC was blowing warm air in traffic? Did you ever confirm if your radiator fans were engaging when the AC was on?

This happened to an old car of ours but it was not an Integra, AC would go warm in stop-and-go traffic, then cool down once I got moving. Turned out the condenser fan wasn't kicking on properly when idling, so airflow was limited. No warning lights either. I say try having the fan and relays checked just in case.

I'd also mention low on refrigerant. Not too low, but low enough to cause a problem when you're at an idle. Had something like this happen to me on an older car I owned.
