So, I made a bit of a rookie mistake and had an engine block heater put in my car, thinking it was going to be an easy plug-and-play deal. I figured I could attach it whenever I wanted and just yank it out when I didn't. Turns out, it's actually a permanent install with these rough-looking ties. Not exactly what I signed up for! It's not workin out like I hoped, so now I'm gearing up to take it out. But here's the thing, will pulling this thing out mess with the coolant? Or is there anything else I should keep in mind before I dive into this myself?

Make sure the engine is cool, have a drain pan ready, and be ready to top off and bleed the system after depending on the type, you might need a proper freeze plug or cap to seal the port once it's out buh if its an inline hose types, replacing that section of hose is probably cleaner than trying to patch it
