Strange issue after wash

I took my car through the usual automated wash.....neutral, spray, dry, all that. After pulling out and driving, I suddenly got a "Shift to Neutral" message and saw an H-shaped light. I was already in 4th gear, I pulled over, restarted the car, and it cleared, strange right??? has anyone else ever had something like that happen?

I've only had my Integra for a month, so I'm still figurin things out. My last car had similar weird errors that would show up sometimes, but they usually went away after restarting the system, just like what you're expereincing

Yeah, that's weird but not unheard of, sometimes water can mess with sensors or the transmission computer during a wash.

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured, just a weird glitch

That's definitely a strange one, but quite common after an automated car wash!
What likely happened is a temporary electronic glitch caused by the car wash environment. it can be bcs water Intrusion/Splash, also sensor confusion

yeah, it makes sense that water or sensor confusion could cause a glitch like that, I'll keep an eye out next time and maybe avoid the more intense washes for now
