My 2024 Acura Integra A-Spec keeps flashing the rear seat reminder after I shut off the engine. My girlfriend sat back there earlier, and the alert won't go away even after flipping the seat up. Does anyone know where Acura tucked the sensor?

Totally normal, Acura's rear seat reminder goes off whenever a back door's opened before driving, not from a seat sensor. Even if no one's back there, it'll still alert you after shutting off the car. There's no sensor to reset, just open and close the rear door again and it should stop. Kind of annoying, but it's working as designed.

Thank you for the explanation. I was looking for a seat sensor that apparently doesn't exist. Your suggestion to cycle the rear door worked immediately.

Acura doesn't use weight sensors like some other brands, it's based on rear door activity. So if you open a back door before or during the trip, it assumes someone or something was placed back there and triggers the alert when you shut off the engine, nice you got it all figured out

My previous car must've used a different system because I was convinced a sensor was under the seat cushion. It's a clever system once you understand the logic behind the alert.
